Our Flagship Programmes

Beyond Woodwork & Craft PBO is a community-led nonprofit working to unlock dignified opportunities for vulnerable youth, women, smallholder farmers and persons with disabilities in Kenya. We combine structured sports, vocational training, digital storytelling, green enterprise, environmental restoration and community-led governance to create practical pathways out of vulnerability and into skills, livelihoods and resilience. From Mtwapa in coastal Kenya, where we empower youth through sports, media and woodworking, to Manga–Karadolo in Siaya County, where we are developing community-led wetland restoration and papyrus-based green livelihoods, our work is grounded in one belief: communities can transform their future when they are equipped with the right skills, infrastructure, partnerships and opportunities.
